BREAKING: Police launch frantic search for two missing Lanarkshire teens

Police are urging for assistance in a frantic search for two missing teenagers in Lanarkshire.

It is believed both Courtney Semple, 16, and Liam Kennedy, 17, are in the same company as concern grows for their whereabouts.

Courtney was last seen around 9.05pm on June 19 and is missing from the Kirkmuirhill/Blackwood area.

She is known to frequent both Glasgow and Edinburgh city centres and has connections to East Kilbride, Larkhall and Clydebank.

She is described as, 4"1 tall, slim build with blonde hair. At the time of her disappearance she was wearing grey shorts white tank top and a black Nike zipper.

Meanwhile, Liam was last seen around 9.55pm on June 21 from the Plains area of Airdrie.

He is described as 6"4 tall, slim build, short brown hair, blue/grey eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black tracksuit top and black tracksuit bottoms.

Police ask if you have any information regarding either of these missing teenagers, to contact officers on 101.

Information can also be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
