BREAKING: Police appeal for information after Lanarkshire woman reported missing

Police say there is "growing concern" for the welfare of a missing 31-year-old Lanarkshire woman.

Claire Ferguson - also known as Charlotte - was last seen about midnight on Wednesday, May 26.

She was near Kirkhill Street, Wishaw, and it is believed she was walking in the direction of Shotts.

Claire is described as being white, around 5ft 2ins tall, slim build with long brown hair, which was up in a bun at the time.

At the time she went missing Claire was wearing grey jeans and a grey zipper hoodie. carrying a pink Peppa Pig bag packed with food and juice.

Officers are appealing for information amidst growing concern for her welfare.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101.

Information can be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
