Two teenagers were murdered within minutes of each other in unrelated killings in London this afternoon.
Met Police were called to a stabbing in Wandsworth, in the south west of the capital at 4.42pm today.
They found a man, believed to be in his late teens, critically injured after being knifed.
He died at the scene a short while later.
Just 12 minutes after that call out, at 4.54pm, armed police rushed to Plumstead, 14 miles away, in south east London to reports of a shooting.

Scotland Yard are making efforts to inform the families of both teenagers.

No arrests have been made in either murder investigation.
Both areas have been warned to expect an enhanced police presence in the area this evening.
Post-mortems will be held in due course.
