Emergency services are believed to have pulled a person from the Irish Sea after an accident this afternoon.
The person, whose condition is not known at this time, is said to have been pulled out of the water off Dalkey, south Dublin.
Sources have said that both helicopters and lifeboats responded to the incident and the person was taken ashore at Coliemore Harbour.
It is understood the casualty was flown to Beaumont Hospital following the incident.
Gardai have been contacted for a statement.
