A pedestrian has been seriously injured during a collision at Salford Quays.
A road outside The Alchemist was closed while emergency services deal with the incident, which happened at around 6.17pm this evening (January 7).
Ambulance staff rushed to The Quays, though the pedestrian is not thought to have suffered life-threatening injuries.

The driver of a car involved in the collision has remained at the scene, Greater Manchester Police said.
A spokesperson for the force confirmed details of the incident.
They said: "Police were called at 6.17pm to The Quays in Salford following reports of an RTC involving a car and a pedestrian.
“A pedestrian suffered serious injuries which are not thought to be life threatening.
"The driver remained at the scene."
MancTraffic reported queuing traffic on The Quays this evening following the crash.
“Pedestrian knockdown on The Quays, Media City close to the Rbt by the Lowry,” they tweeted.
“Queues both ways.”
The road reopened at about 7pm.
