BREAKING Oritse Williams mansion fire being investigated as ‘ARSON’

A devastating fire at the home of JLS star Oritse Williams is being investigated as "suspicious".

The £3 million mansion burned down just days after the singer was cleared of rape.

Around 70 firefighters fought the blaze at the former X Factor star's home in Croydon yesterday afternoon.

Firefighters arrived in 10 engines to tackle the fire, which reportedly damaged part of the first and second floor of the detached three-storey building.

This morning a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called at 16:39hrs on Tuesday, 4 June following reports of a fire at a residential address in Spout Hill, Croydon.

"Officers attended with London Fire Brigade.

"There were no reported injuries. There have been no arrests.

"At this stage, the incident is being treated as suspicious. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

"Enquiries continue, led by the South Area Command Unit CID."
