Murder squad cops have locked down a Paisley street as part of a major incident.
Three blocks of flats in the town's Springbank Road, in the Shortroods area, have been cordoned off with a heavy police presence on scene this afternoon.
It is understood officers were called to an incident yesterday lunchtime sparking a major response.
Specialist forensic officers were also seen scouring a flat this morning.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
