Missing Billie Mia French Mullen: Body found in search for missing 29-year-old

A body has been found in the search for a missing 29-year-old woman in Scotland.

Billie Mia French Mullen was last seen boarding a bus in the Parkhead area of Glasgow on Sunday afternoon.

At 8pm yesterday Police Scotland officers found the body of a woman in East Kilbride roughly eight miles away from where Ms Mullen was seen.

The death is being treated as unexplained.

A formal identification has still to take place however the family of Ms Mullen has been informed about the recovery.

A post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death.
