The Met Office has issued thunderstorm and flash flood warnings for parts of England and Wales for the rest of Easter Sunday.
The yellow warning is in place from 3pm until 11pm today, which could cause flooding and power cuts in some places.
It covers many parts of the Midlands as well as eastern and northern Wales.
What to expect
- There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds
- Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services
- Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
- There is a small chance that some communities become cut off by flooded roads
- There is a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost
After a balmy Easter Saturday and Sunday for many, Monday will see a huge drop in temperatures, with the mercury set to plunge by nearly 10 degrees in parts of the country.
Brits were reminded to heed Government instructions and avoid the temptation to visit beaches and parks on Easter Sunday as the warm weather continues.
The mercury could get as high as 24C today, according to Met Office forecasts.
Warm sunny spells are predicted across most of England and Wales, with the south of the country set to get the best weather.
Temperatures are expected to peak at a balmy 24.8C in London.
Speaking at Friday's daily press conference about the importance of obeying lockdown rules, Health Secretary Matt Hancock described the Easter weekend as "another test of the nation's resolve".
"It's a time of year when people normally come together," he said.
"But however warm the weather, however tempting your local beach or park, we need everyone to stay at home."

This Evening and Tonight:
Daytime heavy showers and thunderstorms over England and Wales will gradually fade during the evening. Southern areas will turn cloudier overnight, whilst clear spells and widespread frost develop in the north. A few wintry showers in the north-east.
Monday:
Most areas fine, dry and bright. Parts of southern UK starting off rather cloudy though. Much cooler than at the weekend, especially England and Wales. Breezy, especially in far south.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Mostly fine with plenty of sunshine. Trending warming but still cold overnight. Cloudier and breezier over northern Scotland with some light rain. Showery rain possible in the southwest on Thursday.
