BREAKING: Man rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Oldham

A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Oldham.

Emergency services were called to a street in Chadderton following the incident on Friday afternoon (March 12).

Officers were seen on Whiststable Close, shortly after 4pm.

The investigation appeared to be focused on a black BMW.

The door was surrounded by police tape.

The driver-side door had been left open.

A section of the close had been cordoned off by police.

An air ambulance landed on nearby Crossley Playing Fields.

A spokesman for GMP said: "Police were called shortly after 4.10pm to a report of a man being stabbed on Whitstable Close, Oldham.

"A man has been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries."
