A man has been found dead on the M67 motorway in Tameside this morning.
Police were called out about a body found close to junction two, in Denton, at around 7am today (December 18).
Officers rushed out to the scene, where the man was sadly pronounced dead.

The motorway has been closed off in both directions since around 7.30am while officers carry out their investigations.
Greater Manchester Police says it is 'keeping an open mind' about the death and enquiries are ongoing.
Anyone with information about the incident is being urged to come forward.
A GMP spokesperson said: "Police were called around 7am today (December 18) to a report of a body being found on the M67 close to junction two.
"Emergency services attended and a man has sadly been pronounced dead at the scene.
"The motorway is currently closed and officers are keeping an open mind about the circumstances surrounding the man's death whilst enquiries continue."

The M67 is shut between Denton Island and junction three for Hyde eastbound, while two lanes are closed between junction two and Denton Island on the westbound side.
Drivers are being told to expect some delays in the area, with traffic being diverted along the A57.
