A man has been found dead within bushes outside Irvine's Burger King.
Reports of an unconscious man were flagged to police at lunchtime and officers taped off the area close to the Irvine Riverway Retail Park restaurant.
Information on how the man died has not been released but police are not treating the death as suspicious.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Around 12.55pm on Monday, 16 November, police were informed of a man lying unconscious within bushes near to Merryvale Roundabout, Riverway. Irvine.
“Police attended and the man was found to be dead.
“Enquiries are ongoing to clarify the identity of the man and establish the circumstances of how he came to be there."
