Man City to face no action over players singing anti-Liverpool chant

Manchester City will face no action after a video emerged of their players singing an anti-Liverpool chant.

City stars were shown singing a modified version of Liverpool's 'Allez, Allez, Allez' chant, which mentioned Reds fans being "battered in the streets".

But the FA say no rules and regulations have been breached.

The chant also contains the line "victims of it all" and mentions Vincent Kompany injuring Mohamed Salah earlier this season.

City players chanted the song on their flight back from Brighton after a 4-1 win on the south coast sealed their second successive Premier League title, pipping Liverpool to the crown by a point.

They were slammed online, but the club insisted the contents were not in reference to either Sean Cox or the Hillsborough tragedy.

All the way to Kiev,

To end up in defeat,

Crying in the stands,

And battered on the streets.

Kompany injured Salah,

Victims of it all,

Sterling won the double,

The scousers won f*** all

Allez, allez, allez x2
