Man, 24, found drowned at £3m mansion after late night party

A 24-year-old man was found drowned in a swimming pool at a £3m mansion after a late night party.

The alarm was raised in Crundale, near Canterbury in Kent at roughly 3.30am on Sunday.

An investigation into the death has been launched.

A statement from Kent Police this afternoon said: "Police were called to a house in Crundale, Canterbury at 3.37am on Sunday, 28 July 2019 following an incident in a swimming pool where a man was found unconscious.

"The man was taken to hospital where he later died.

"Police are investigating the circumstances around the incident and at this stage the man’s death is being treated as unexplained."

His next of kin have been informed.
