BREAKING: Major train disruption in West Dunbartonshire

Train services in West Dunbartonshire are facing major disruption this morning due to trespassers on the line between Balloch and Renton.

ScotRail have confirmed via Twitter that “staff on site have taken possession of the line” in order to let emergency services attend.

Alexandria lorry driver dies in road crash

A spokesperson confirmed: “Our Balloch to Airdrie services are starting from and return journeys terminating at Dumbarton Central whilst we deal with this incident. We’re working closely with the emergency services, who are on site.”
