A central London street outside Harrods department store is on lockdown after a suspected chemical spillage.
Police were called just after 2.20pm to reports of a possible noxious substance having been spilled at a commercial venue in Knightsbridge.
Officers have said the incident is not being treated as terror related.
Emergency services are on the scene, an affluent area home to high end shops including Harrods.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman could not specify where the spillage had taken place.
A police statement says: "Police were called at 14:22hrs on Wednesday, 30 October, to reports of a possible noxious substance having been spilled at a commercial venue on Brompton Road.

When contacted by the Mirror Online, a spokeswoman at the Harrods said the store is still open.
A statement from Harrods said: "Following an earlier incident, unrelated to Harrods, which the Met Police are investigating, the Harrods doors on the Brompton Road were temporarily closed at the request of the Met Police.
"Those doors have since re-opened and the store continues to trade as usual."
