Three lanes of the M6 are closed and traffic is queuing after an accident this morning involving a lorry.
The motorway is partially closed southbound between Junction 7 for the A34 Birmingham Road (Great Barr) and Junction 6 for the A38 Tyburn Road (Spaghetti Junction), Birmingham Live reports.
There is congestion to Junction 10 at Walsall while lanes two and three are closed.
Travel time is estimated at one hour with seven miles of tailbacks.
A lorry has crashed into the central barrier on the southbound side.
Photos show the vehicle across the central reservation, with the barriers having been partially ripped down.
It's unclear how the crash was caused but West Midlands Ambulance Service said no-one required treatment.

A spokesperson told the Mirror: "We were called at 4:38am to reports of a lorry in the central reservation between junctions 7 and 6 of the M6 in Great Barr.
"One paramedic officer attended the scene, however upon arrival, no one required assessment and we were stood down from the scene."
Highways England tweeted that traffic officers, as well as recovery and maintenance crews, are currently at the scene.
Photos from the roads authority show the queues at around 5.55am.
Traffic England warned there would be delays until after 9am.
One Twitter user wrote: "It’s getting past a joke that stretch of motorway every day there’s a smash."
It comes after drivers on the same motorway faced 10 miles of congestion when a car overturned in the Black Country around 4pm on Wednesday.
The crash happened in the northbound carriageway in between junctions 10 and 10a, near Walsall and Wolverhampton.
Paramedics, police, firefighters and highways officers were all sent to the crash but nobody was seriously hurt.
Meanwhile, another stretch of the M6 in Cumbria was also closed in both directions due to a 'police incident' hours earlier.
Emergency services and highways officers were at the scene between J37 for Kendal and J38 for Tebay.
The incident also caused heavy congestion on both the northbound and southbound carriageways with nearly 40 minutes of delays reported in the area.
West Midlands Police said it was not called to the scene of today's incident.
