Love Island's Chuggs Wallis is first boy brutally dumped from the villa

Chuggs Wallis has become the first boy to be brutally dumped from the Love Island villa.

The 23-year-old hat business owner, from Surrey, failed to win bombshell Rachel's affections after being pitted against Chuggs in order to stay in the villa.

During the last recoupling, neither Chuggs nor Brad had been picked by any of the female Islanders, leaving their fate entirely in the hands of new girl Rachel.

Both got to know Rachel, but in the end she managed to make her decision.

Giving her reasoning why, she said: "This has not been easy in the slightest. I think you're both amazing guys in every single way.

"I can't fault either of you for absolutely anything. I would like to couple up with this boy because I feel that we have a very similar take on life. We can talk about anything.

He's made me feel comfortable, he's made me feel sexy. He's made me feel f***ing great. I'm excited to see where things go."

After her decision was announced, Brad was visibly emotional as he began crying.

Chuggs admitted that he was "gutted" to be leaving after just two days but said that he was happy that he had been able to sleep in a bed with two of the most attractive Islanders.

When he first entered the villa, Chuggs explained his reasoning as being: "I just feel like it’s now or never. I’m only 23 but I’m scared of aging.

"Especially as half of my last year of uni was taken away and we had so many fun plans. With Covid and the pandemic, I feel like I’ve missed a year of my youth, so I’m really gagging to get it all back – make the most of it."

*Love Island airs weekdays at 9pm on ITV2
