Two lanes of the M74 were closed this morning following a traffic collision involving a police car.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.20am, officers were called to a road crash on the southbound M74 near Junction 2.
"The car involved was a police vehicle and the two officers were taken to hospital to be checked over.”
Traffic was heavy on approach and motorists are advised to be cautious.
Traffic Scotland previously informed motorists: “Lanes 1 and 2 (of 3) restricted southbound J2-2A due to an RTC (road traffic collision). TRISS are en route.”
All lanes have now reopened, although there are still delays.
