A Labour MP has been suspended by the party and had the whip withdrawn, reportedly following allegations of bullying.
Christina Rees is understood to have been administratively suspended, which under party rules means she must sit as an independent MP while an investigation is carried out.
Labour has said it cannot comment on individual cases.
Ms Rees, who served as shadow Wales secretary when Jeremy Corbyn was Labour leader, has been MP for Neath in South Wales since 2015.
According to The Guardian, an investigation has been launched following allegations that she bullied her constituency staff.
The Mirror has contact Ms Rees' office for comment.
In a statement to The Guardian she said: “There has been a complaint made against me to the Labour party, which is under investigation and I am therefore under an administrative suspension until the process is concluded.
"I’m not aware of the details of the complaint but I am fully cooperating with the investigation.”
She joins Jeremy Corbyn, Rupa Huq and Claudia Webber as independents having had the Labour whip withdrawn.
