The Burns Mall in Kilmarnock has been evacuated this morning.
Staff and customers were cleared out of the town centre shopping centre as the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the scene.
Shops inside the mall were closed, as were the likes of JD, New Look, CEX and other surrounding stores.
Staff from a number of shops were seen waiting to hear when it was safe to go back inside.
The reason for evacuation is not clear at present but keep an eye on the Kilmarnock Standard Facebook page for updates as the Kilmarnock Standard gets them.
The Burns Mall have been contacted for comment.
