Jet2 holidays and flights to restart on July 1

Jet2 will restart their holidays and flights on July 1.

The company which was voted best airline and tour operator for the way it has dealt with customers during the coronavirus pandemic made the announcement on its website this afternoon.

The company said in a statement: "We have said throughout that the sun will shine again and when it does, we will be there to take customers away on their well-deserved holidays.

"As well as taking them away for their much-needed holidays, customers can be assured that we will be implementing measures, in consultation with the relevant authorities, to ensure the safety and well-being of everybody onboard."

Customers who were due to travel before July 1st do not need to contact Jet2 as they are proactively contacting them to discuss options, one of which is rebooking your holiday to a later date.

For customers with bookings on or after July 1st, the booking is subject to Jet2's normal terms and conditions.

Jet2 said that like all other airlines and tour operators the restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic have impacted them but with their aircraft grounded they focused their attention on what their customers needed.
