Jack Clarke has joined Queens Park Rangers on loan for the remainder of the season.
Joining Tottenham in the summer after making a huge impression in his debut campaign for Leeds United, Mauricio Pochettino elected to send the player back out on loan to Elland Road to continue his development.
Despite featuring in two Carabao Cup games in August, the winger only made one appearance in the league under Marcelo Bielsa and that came in November as he came off the bench for the final 19 minutes at Luton Town.
Clarke wasn't helped by the loan rules which only allow clubs to name five loan players in a matchday squad, thus meaning he missed out regularly as Leeds had six on their books.
The 19-year-old will now be hoping to get some much-needed minutes under his belt in west London as he bids to return to Spurs in the summer and catch Jose Mourinho's eye.
Speaking to QPR's official website following his move across the capital, Clarke outlined how much of an influence QPR boss Mark Warburton had on his decision amid interest from other clubs.
"I spoke to Mark a fair few times," he said. "He was one of the main factors in me coming here - in terms of how he wants to play football and how he sees me fitting in."
Clarke will be hoping to have a big impact during his time in W12 and Warburton has claimed he is "delighted" to have him at the club for the remainder of the season.
"I’m really pleased to bring Jack in – he is a talented, young, hungry player with lots of energy and there’s no doubts about his quality," said the manager. "I am looking forward to working with him.
"Right now we have Ilias Chair, Bright Osayi-Samuel and Ebere Eze doing exceptionally well for us but with injuries, suspensions, form, you need to have options.
"Jack provides that. He can play on the left, on the right, or in the centre so we are delighted to have him.
"Hopefully the fans will see the quality that he has."
