Illegal raves were held in Trafford and Oldham last night, with 'huge' police scenes at both and unconfirmed reports of a stabbing.

Images show police and paramedics in Carrington and at Daisy Nook Country Park late last night (Saturday, June 14).

Pictures of people dressed in party gear streaming to the Carrington rave have also emerged.

A large number of police vehicles were seen on Mile Road in Flixton at around 9.30pm. Some witnesses said there were around 50 emergency vehicles.

Manchester Road was closed between Partington and Carrington.

There have also been multiple reports of a stabbing in the area, though these have not been confirmed by Greater Manchester Police.

A witness, who asked not be named, said: "There's something massive going on.
