Armed police have swooped on a plush neighbourhood of west London after reports of gunfire.
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that shots were fired by firearms officers in the Holland Park area.
Residents reported hearing as many as ten gun shots in the area, which is near to the Ukraine embassy.
Denys Sienik, a spokesman for the Ukrainian embassy, told the Telegraph that a vehicle crashed into the Ukrainian ambassador’s car and police had fired at the car in response.
Mr Sienik, the First Secretary in the embassy, said no shots were fired from the car.
He said the embassy had not been threatened recently and that staff were all reported as safe.

Photos posted on social media show police guarding a cordon on Holland Park, between the park and Holland Park Avenue.
A Met Police spokesman added the incident took place on Saturday morning and was not ongoing.
A woman who works at a nearby shop said she heard shots fired twice between 10am and 11am on Saturday.
The woman, who did not wish to be named, said officers arrived "very quick", adding: "I saw many police cars coming."
The Holland Park area also contains the Embassy of Greece and Embassy of Uzbekistan.
Henry Greenfields, 80, told MyLondon a neighbour had heard shots fired near the Ukrainian Embassy and saw police shoot.
He added: “We didn’t hear shots ourselves but the embassy is the best part of 200 yards away with big buildings in between.”
