Pep Guardiola wins Premier League manager of the season over Klopp, Nuno and Pochettino

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has landed the Premier League manager of the season award - his second in succession.

The Blues raced to the league title for the second straight campaign on Sunday as they beat Brighton 4-1 to edge out Liverpool by one point.

Man City have amassed 198 points in the last two seasons under the guidance of the Spaniard, who continues to excel in the role after hugely successful spells earlier in his managerial career at Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Jurgen Klopp has also impressed this season with Liverpool picking up 97 points in the Premier League on their way to a second-place finish, while Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham Hotspur made the Premier League top four and have a place in the Champions League final.

Nuno Espírito Santo, meanwhile, has guided Wolves to a remarkable seventh-place finish in the Premier League but Guardiola's efforts with Man City were recognised on Tuesday night by the league.
