Chelsea's Premier League trip to Fulham will now take place this Saturday, the Premier League have confirmed.
The Blues were set to make the short journey to Craven Cottage on Friday night but have agreed with the Premier League for the game to be pushed back a day.
The contest, which is a must-win for Chelsea boss Frank Lampard, will now kick-off at 5.30pm on January 16.
The match has been rescheduled as Fulham are now going to take on Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday evening.
That fixture was meant to have taken place on December 30 but was postponed after an outbreak of Covid-19 at the west London club.
Finding a date for the rearranged match to be played was going to prove a tricky task for the Premier League, but an opportunity arose with Aston Villa's players currently self-isolating.
Villa were set to take on Tottenham on Wednesday but that match has now been called off.
As a result, Fulham, who were set to have a free week, have agreed to take on Jose Mourinho's side at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium instead.
The decision means Frank Lampard will have almost a full week to prepare his Chelsea side for the game.
Throughout this season, the Blues head coach has spoken about the difficulites of embedding new players into his side without proper time on the training pitch.
However, the Blues had a free week ahead of the win over Morecambe and now another before they take on the Cottagers.
Lampard will undoubted hope that benefits his side, who have lost four of their last six Premier League games.
