First Strictly 2019 contestants 'accidentally leaked' in major slip-up

The first three Strictly Come Dancing 2019 contestants appeared to accidentally be revealed ahead of schedule today on Good Morning Britain today.

Radio presenter Iain Lee was speaking about the upcoming announcement on The One Show when he let slip that Sam Allardyce, Jamie Laing and Anneka Rice would be taking part in the BBC dancing show.

Speaking to hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway, Iain said: "They are going to announce the first three people on a show called The One Show – it’s going to be Sam Allardyce, Jamie Laing and Anneka Rice."

Confused, Ben asked: "They are announcing it later and you have already announced it?"

Iain didn't seem too fussed, telling the camera: "Sorry One Show! Sorry Alex Jones!"

Ben then confirmed the names he had been given and Kate quipped: "See Anneka I think will be good, Jamie will be good. You know Sam quite well."

Her co-host Ben said that he did know Big Sam quite well.

"Do you think he's got a quickstep in him?" Kate asked.

Ben replied: "Undoubtedly!"

This comes after the BBC confirmed that pro dancer Oti Mabuse's sister Motsi would be replacing Darcey Bussell as the new Strictly judge.

She started out as a professional dancer on Let's Dance, before she was upgraded to a judge in the fourth series, and has remained in the role for the past nine series.

It's been reported that the Strictly professionals are worried that new judge Motsi will give 'preferential treatment' to her sister Oti Mabuse , who is a popular member of the dancing cast.

They fear that there will be bias when it comes to dishing out scores and that Motsi will go easy on her younger sister, 28.

Motsi and Oti have already been in a similar position when Oti was a pro on the German show for two series and and has already experienced being judged by her sibling.

“Motsi is totally impartial,” said a source. “She will be scrupulously fair, as she always was with Oti on the German version.”
