This is the first picture of a woman who was found dead in her home in a suspected murder-suicide.
Karolina Zinkeviciene's body was discovered when police were called to the property in Spalding, Lincolnshire, just after 5.30am last Thursday.
The initial post-mortem result indicates the 30-year-old, originally from Klaipeda, Lithuania, was murdered
Breshnev Ruiters, 34, was also found dead at the scene. Further examinations are required on his body, but police are not looking for anyone else in connection with their deaths, a Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said.
Ruiters was originally from Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.
Detective Inspector Andy McWatt, Senior Investigating Officer, said: “The initial post-mortem result indicates Karolina was murdered.
"Her family have asked for their privacy to be respected at this exceptionally difficult time and we continue to support them.
"Breshnev Ruiters also died in this incident and although further forensic examinations are required, we are not looking for anyone else in connection with these deaths.
“We will be making no further comment until the conclusion of inquests for both of these people.”
Detective Inspector McWatt said at the weekend: “I recognise this is a deeply sad time for the family and friends of those involved and worrying for the local community.
"Our investigation is in the early stages but I can update we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this investigation.
“I will be in a position to share more information in the coming days. I ask that the privacy of those affected by this investigation is respected.
“If anyone has concerns or information they would like to pass I ask that they get in touch.”
