Part of Dumbarton Health Centre has been temporarily closed today by Fire and Rescue Scotland.
The Staton Road centre is understood to have had an electrical power surge, and Fire and Rescue Scotland to close as a safety precaution.
Patients with appointments at the facility have been advised by the health board to get in touch if they are in need of urgent medical advice.
The health board is expected to provide an update later today (Wednesday).
A spokesman from NHSGGC said: "As a result, all of today’s planned appointments at the Health Centre have been cancelled.
"We are sorry for the inconvenience caused and are doing all we can to return services to normal as quickly as possible.
"If you are a patient of Dumbarton Health Centre and require urgent medical advice this afternoon, please call 01389 811847.
A further update will be provided at 5pm today.
