Police have recovered a body from the River Clyde following the disappearance of a Lanarkshire man.
He is still to be formally identified, however, the family of Lawrence Penswick has been informed.
The 57-year-old was reported missing from Bellshill on Friday, December 3.
Officers recovered a body from the River Clyde at around 2.30am this morning near the Broomielaw in Glasgow.
There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
