A spokesperson from the FA has confirmed that there is hope that the FA Cup semi-final between Chelsea vs Crystal Palace will be played at full capacity, amid the restrictions currently placed on the Blues.
The two clubs are set to meet on the weekend of April 16 at Wembley Stadium, but as things stand, Chelsea will not be able to sell tickets to their supporters as a result of the government's decision to impose sanctions on current owner Roman Abramovich.
Nevertheless, the Blues have been given a small boost ahead of the semi-final, as a spokesperson from the FA confirmed that it's the governing body's intention to ensure that the crowd is sold-out with Chelsea fans in attendance.

"We hope to have sell-out crowds at both our Emirates FA Cup Semi Finals at Wembley Stadium," the statement read. "This includes tickets for Chelsea supporters for their match against Crystal Palace, and we are working with the Government on a method to achieve this whilst respecting the sanctions that are currently in place on Chelsea."
Chelsea qualified for the semi-final after beating Championship outfit Middlesbrough 2-0 at the weekend. Whilst a small section of fans were in attendance for that game as they had bought tickets before the sporting licence came into operation, the Blues will evidently want as many of their supporters to be at Wembley as possible for what promises to be a difficult encounter with the Eagles.
Patrick Vieira's side eased past Everton 4-0 in their respective quarter-final, and as they're yet to win an FA Cup, they'll be motivated to beat Chelsea and book themselves into their third ever final.
