TV presenter Emily Hartridge has died in a car crash, her family have confirmed.

The popular YouTuber is believed to have died on Friday morning after she was involved in a collision in South London.

A statement on Instagram read: "Hi everyone. This is a horrible thing to have to say over Instagram but we know many of you were expecting to see Emily today and this is the only way to contact you all at once.

"Emily was involved in an accident yesterday and passed away. We all loved her to bits and she will never be forgotten.

"She has touched so many lives it's hard to imagine things without her. She was a very special person xxx."

Tributes have poured in for the star, who presented S***, I'm 30 and had 340,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

Davina McCall wrote: "My heart goes out to Emily's family and friends. Such a shock. Sending you love and prayers."

Made in Chelsea star Ashley James added: "Sending you all so much love. So devastated."

Emily was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision just after 8.30am on Friday.

She was dating fellow PT Jacob Hazell and one of her last Instagram posts is a snap of the pair kissing, titled: "10 REASONS TO HAVE A YOUNGER BOYFRIEND."

It reads: "And I know for many women over 30 they might be unsure about dating someone that much younger but let me tell you......IT IS AWESOME."

On June 26 Jacob shared on his Instagram that the pair were moving in together.

She told The Sun Online about meeting her partner, writing: “Two weeks before I was due to freeze my eggs in November 2018 I met Jake, 27, a fellow PT. We hit it off and I told him about getting my eggs frozen. Thankfully, he was very open-minded about it.

"However, I’d already started injecting myself with hormones, which didn’t give us the easiest start to our relationship.

"It didn’t affect our sex life, but my moods were all over the place, and some days all I wanted to do was curl up into a ball. But Jake was so supportive and even came with me for my first procedure.

No arrests have been made.
