Emily Atack and Laura Whitmore announced as Holly Willoughby- replacements on Celeb Juice

Laura Whitmore and Emily Atack have been announced as Holly Willoughby's replacement on Celeb Juice.

Holly, 39, announced she was quitting the comedy panel show in May after '12 fantastic years of chaos.'

Her departure came just after fellow team captain Mel B also left the show after a two season stint as a team captain.

After much anticipation about who would fill on the late night quiz, it has been revealed that Laura and Emily have been recruited to join Keith Lemon on the show.

Former I'm A Celeb star Emily has appeared on the programme a number of times, including back in April when she shared a kiss with captain Mel B.

After finally being able to reveal her latest TV project the ex Inbetweeners actress gushed: "Every time I’ve been on Juice in the past I’ve had such a good time, and now I’m doing it with two of my best mates and I’m a ruddy team captain!!! Can’t believe it. I dread to think what we're going to be faced with, but Whitmore should know that I won’t be backing down and she is going to have some tough competition. But more importantly a wonderfully hilarious time. Bring it on!”

While Winter Love Island host Laura said she was equally 'thrilled' to be joining the ITV2 family.

"I’ve been the biggest fan for years, I used to go and sit in the audience when I first moved to London and can’t believe I’m a team captain now!" she said.

Keith Lemon is the host of Celeb Juice (ITV)

"I can’t wait to see what Keith has got lined up for Emily and I this series… From past experiences, nothing would surprise me. I cannot wait to get stuck in and lead my team to victory each week… I love you Emily, but watch out! I’m so excited to start!”

Holly Willoughby announced she was leaving the show after 12 years back in May.

Writing on Instagram, Willoughby said: "All good things must come to an end and nothing lasts forever."

Fearne Cotton was the first longterm captain to leave the series after 10 years in 2018.

She was initially replaced by Paddy McGuinness in 2019, who was followed by Mel B for the next two series.

Holly only missed out on filming for one series in 2014 to go on maternity leave while pregnant with her third and youngest child Chester.
