A road has been taped off following reports of a serious crash in Tameside. Eyewitnesses said the collision involved a car and a bike.
The incident is believed to have occurred at around 9pm tonight (Friday) at the Hattersley Roundabout near McDonald's. A picture from the scene shows a police car at the roundabout.
Greater Manchester Police has been contact for comment. No details have been provided at this stage by the emergency services. It is unclear whether anyone was injured in the collision.
An eyewitness at the scene said two ambulances were present at around 11pm. Police were seen parked on a side street and on a layby. It is understood the road has been closed in both directions following the collision.
