A man facing charges of attempted murder has been remanded following a second court appearance.
Gerald Stark, 45, appeared in private at Hamilton Sheriff Court and made no plea.
It is alleged that he assaulted a woman to her severe injury and permanent disfigurement, and tried to murder her during an incident that took place in East Kilbride on Saturday, October 30.
Stark, of East Kilbride, faces a second charge of allegedly assaulting another woman to the endangerment of life and attempting to murder her in a separate incident in the town on the same date.
He was fully committed and the date of his next court appearance is yet to be decided.
