Breaking: EFL announce results of latest COVID-19 testing in the Championship

The EFL have confirmed that there have been no new positive tests in the Championship.

A total of 2798 players and club staff from the 24 Championship clubs were tested over the course of the past week with zero individuals testing positive.

The Championship resumed with matches behind closed doors since mid-June with the regular season due to climax on July 22.

The play-offs will then subsequently take place with the final being held in early August.

The League One campaign has been curtailed early, with only the play-offs taking place in this division.
