BREAKING: Dumfries and Galloway confirmed coronavirus case numbers for May 21

No further coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Dumfries and Galloway.

The daily update from the Scottish Government shows the region’s total remains at 257, with less than five people currently being treated in hospital.

Across Scotland, there are 14,856 cases, up 105 from yesterday.

There are 1,318 people in hospital compared to 1,443 yesterday, with 51 in intensive care.

Since March 5, PEOPLE people have been discharged from hospital after being treated for Covid-19.

A further 37 people have died, taking the total to 2,221.
