BREAKING: Dumfries and Galloway confirmed coronavirus case numbers for May 11

There remain 255 confirmed coronavirus cases in Dumfries and Galloway.

Just one person has tested positive in the region since Thursday.

At present, there are less than five people who have tested positive being treated in the region's hospitals.

Across Scotland, 13,627 people have now tested positive for Covid-19, up another 141 from yesterday. 60,436 have tested negative.

The number of people in hospital has dropped 31 to 1,453, with the number in intensive care down two to 80.

Since March 5, 3,114 people have been discharged from hospital after recovering.

An additional five people have died, with the Scottish total now at 1,862. The low increase is potentially down to registrations not being as common at weekends.
