BREAKING: Dumfries and Galloway confirmed coronavirus case numbers for April 30

Dumfries and Galloway now has 246 confirmed coronavirus cases.

A further two people have tested positive in the past 24 hours, adding to Wednesday's figure of 244.

As of midnight, there were 21 coronavirus patients in the region's hospitals, compared to 32 yesterday.

So far, 54,639 tests have been carried out across Scotland with 11,353 people testing positive - an increase of 319 in the past day. 43,286 people have tested negative.

There are currently 1,748 coronvirus patients in Scottish hospitals, an increase of 21. The number of people in intensive care has fallen to 109, a decrease of five.

2,538 people who have tested positive since March 5 have since been released from hospital.

However, a further 60 people have died, taking the Scottish death toll to 1,475.
