Fire crews are battling a blaze at a block of flats in Westcliff.
The fire broke out at the property earlier this morning with emergency services on the scene.
A police spokesman told the Lennox Herald: "We were called around 10.50am following the report of a fire at an address in Ashton View in Dumbarton.
"Emergency services are currently in attendance at the moment including the fire service and ambulance service."
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 10.42am to reports of a property on fire at Ashton View, Dumbarton.
“Operations Control mobilised four appliances to a fire on the second floor of a four-storey building.
“Crews are still in attendance.”
