A woman in her 40s has been charged after Gardai found a crossbow firearm and heroin in a Dublin house.
Gardai conducted a search of the premises in the Summerhill area on Tuesday night where they made the startling discovery.
Heroin with an estimated street value of approximately €2,500 and the weapon were seized during the search.
Both items are now the subject of a technical examination.
The 40-year-old was arrested at the scene and has since been charged in relation to the incident.
She is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Wednesday morning.
