Houston Texans safety Justin Reid is entering the final year of his contract.
The former 2018 third-round pick is focused on helping the Texans rebound from a 4-12 finish in 2020. His play will do his negotiating.
Reid sees any high production during his contract year as being a win, not only for himself when he gets to cash in, but also for his teammates as it should be a part of a winning effort.
“The better I play is better for everybody,” said Reid. “If I play better it’s for the defense, it’s better for me individually and it’s better for the team, too, and we’re going to win more games if I play better.”
Here are four times when the Texans could re-sign Reid.
