Here’s an in-depth breakdown of the Packers’ final injury report ahead of Week 3:

Questionable (5)

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (33) runs for a touchdown during second half of their game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023 at Soldier Field in Chicago.

RB Aaron Jones (hamstring): He practiced in a limited capacity on Thursday and Friday, keeping the door open to playing Sunday. A.J. Dillon would get another crack as the No. 1 running back if Jones can’t play. Patrick Taylor is a likely practice squad call-up.

LT David Bakhtiari (knee): He’ll likely be questionable for the rest of the season. A true day-to-day, week-to-week player in terms of availability. He didn’t practice this week and hasn’t practiced since Aug. 30. Rasheed Walker is his expected backup.

WR Christian Watson (hamstring): Watson practiced Friday in a limited capacity but he sure seems further away from playing than Jones. We’ll see. It’s been over three weeks since his initial injury. The Packers could really use his vertical speed against a veteran Saints defense.

OLB Lukas Van Ness (elbow): He missed part of last week’s loss to the Falcons after suffering the injury but returned, and he practiced each day this week. It would be surprising if he’s not available come Sunday.

CB Jaire Alexander (back): A new injury for Alexander, who was not on the injury report until Friday. Carrington Valentine would likely be a perimeter starter opposite Rasul Douglas if Alexander can’t go.

Ruled out (2)

LG Elgton Jenkins (knee): As expected. Jenkins hurt his knee against the Falcons and could miss multiple weeks, but the fact that he didn’t go on injured reserve suggests he could be back within four weeks. Royce Newman is the expected starter at left guard.

S Zayne Anderson (hamstring): He still hasn’t made his Packers debut, and it’s fair to wonder if he will. Anderson was inactive the first two weeks and got hurt this week. Will the Packers bring up Innis Gaines from the practice squad again?

No play status designation (will play)

OLB Rashan Gary (knee): Another week of limited practices as the Packers build him up to being a full-time player again. Expect his snap count to rise again this week.

P Daniel Whelan (finger): He practiced fully all week. No worries here.

Saints injury report

The Saints ruled out former Packers running back Jamaal Williams. Tight end Foster Moreau is doubtful, while safety Ugo Amadi is questionable. The Saints added cornerback Paulson Adebo to the injury report on Friday with a hamstring injury, and he is questionable. Quarterback Taysom Hill practiced fully on Friday and has no designation. The same goes for rookie running back Kendre Miller.
