Thirty-nine people have been injured in a knife attack at a primary school in China, local government has confirmed.
Staff and pupils at the school in Wuzhou in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region were among those taken to hospital on Thursday morning.
According to reports, a security guard is suspected of carrying out the attack, having been arrested at the scene.
Video from the scene shows a man being led away in handcuffs by officers.
Police tape is seen around the entrance to the school, as officers and photographers gather outside.
