Manchester City will face Lyon or Juventus in their one-legged Champions League quarter-final in Lisbon if they can overcome Real Madrid in the last-16.
The draw for the quarter-finals and semi-finals of the revamped tournament were made in Nyon on Friday, with Chelsea due to face Napoli or Barcelona if they can overturn their 3-0 deficit against Bayern Munich in their last-16 tie.
The quarter-final draw is as follows:
1. Real Madrid or Manchester City vs Lyon or Juventus
2. RB Leipzig vs Atletico Madrid
3. Napoli or Barcelona vs Chelsea or Bayern Munich
4. Atalanta vs Paris Saint-Germain
The semi-final pairings are then:
Winner of QF 1 vs Winner of QF 3
Winner of QF 2 vs Winner of QF 4
The matches from the last eight onwards will all take place in Lisbon between 12-23 August as the Champions League resumes from the coronavirus crisis.
Istanbul had been due to host the final at the end of May, but the tournament was suspended with just half of the last-16 ties completed, with Istanbul now due to host the 2021 final.
The remaining last-16 second legs are set to take place on August 7 and 8, with UEFA confirming on Thursday that they will be staged at the original home grounds as planned.
They said in a statement: “Uefa decided that the remaining Champions League and Europa League round of 16 second-leg matches will be played at home teams’ stadiums – where they are currently playing domestic matches in their own stadiums, and where travelling is possible without restrictions for the visiting clubs.”
Manchester City hold the upper hand in their clash with Real Madrid after they won 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu in February.
Napoli and Barcelona drew 1-1 in Naples, with Lyon - who saw the Ligue 1 season curtailed in April - lead Juventus 1-0.
