A school was put on lockdown after reports of a man carrying a gun in south London.
A spokesperson from The Met Police said: "Police were called at 3:08pm on Tuesday, 11 February to a report of a male seen carrying a firearm at Dunkery Road, Bromley."
A spokesperson for Castlecombe School confirmed the school was instructed to close by the police.
It has since reopened, MyLondon reports.
The police helicopter was seen circling the area.

Police were called to reports of a man walking the streets with the gun, and carried out a search of the area without finding any trace of the man or a firearm, NewsShopper reports.
Bromley Met Police tweeted: "We were called at 3.08pm to a report of a male seen carrying a firearm at Dunkery Rd Bromley.
"Children were kept inside a local school as a precaution while officers and helicopter made a search.
"No trace of the suspect or a firearm. No arrest."
