Three people have been rescued from a fire in a block of flats in east London.
Two were rescued via a ladder after becoming trapped in a flat on the fourth floor. Firefighters managed to gain access to the third person's flat, also on the fourth floor, via an internal stairwell.
One person was taken to hospital, with two others treated at the scene.
Dramatic images show flames leaping from the roof of the complex in Bethnal Green, with around 80 firefighters tackling the blaze.
Huge plumes of smoke could be seen billowing from the building as onlookers reported smelling smoke miles away.
The fire broke out in the residential building in the early hours of this morning, with initial reports received by London Fire Brigade at 3.28am.

Ten fire engines are at the scene in Hadleigh Close.
A London Fire Brigade spokesman confirmed to the Mirror Online the fire was officially under control by 5.45am.
However, he distanced himself from suggestions on social media the fire had started in a tyre shop.
The fire service confirmed via a statement the building has suffered extensive damage to its roof and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
Juha Ristolainen, who lives in a neighbouring block of flats, said he was woken by the smell of smoke and watched as the blaze spread across the nearby building.
He told the Mirror Online at 5.50am: "I woke up around 3.40am to the smell of smoke and checking in the flat and the corridor it wasn't our building saw the smoke outside the window.
"First the right hand side roof of the building was ablaze and fire brigade was putting it out, then the fire came through the roof of the middle part moving to the other end of the building.
"Fire brigade was putting it out from the ground and from ladders and now it seems to be almost out."
Brigade Control took twenty-five 999 calls in relation to the emergency, with one caller trapped inside, it said in a statement.
The person had become unable to escape due to fire, heat and smoke, and were given vital fire survival guidance information before fire crews arrived, it added.
One witness said: "It’s started back up 4 separate times all across the roof."
Arthur Watkiss tweeted: "Smell woke me up a couple of miles away."
The fire was visible as far away as Greenwich Park in southeast London several miles away.
