Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston teases potential appearance in Jesse Pinkman sequel

Bryan Cranston has teased a potential appearance in the forthcoming Breaking Bad sequel.

The actor, who played Walter White in the acclaimed drama, has admitted he’d love to be a part of the new film that’ll focus on Jesse Pinkman’s life after the series.

Considering his character (spoiler alert) dies in the series finale, Cranston told Entertainment Tonight how he believes an appearance could be pulled off.

“Well, rigor mortis has a way of allowing [it] to happen,” he quipped, adding: “It could be a flashback, or a flash forward. [But] I’m still dead. I don’t know.”

The follow-up film, from creator Vince Gilligan and starring Aaron Paul, was confirmed last year. Netflix is expected to debut the film in the UK.

Cranston previously commented on what he hopes will happen to Pinkman in the film.

He said: “I would like to see – and again I have no idea if this is what [Vince is] thinking about – I would like to see [Jesse] struggle to break that mould and eventually break out and find his own real true calling,”

A new TV show in Egypt is facing criticism for seeming to plagiarise direct scenes and quotes from the hit AMC series.

The series is said to feature a Saul Goodman-inspired character who’s performed by someone who’s essentially copying the mannerisms of actor Bob Odenkirk.
