Arsenal unveil third kit for 2020/21 season inspired by European nights

Arsenal have released their third kit for the new season.

The strip, which features a deep blue shirt with pink accents, completes a set that also includes the marble white away kit designed by Adidas.

It is "inspired by dark blue skies on European away evenings", according to the designers, and includes "coral detail in the form of the club badge, adidas logo and sponsor name."

The shorts and socks are also in blue albeit without the pattern on the shirt. The kit is made with "recycled polyester to save resources and decrease emissions". It is available now through ArsenalDirect.

Arsenal FC: 2020/2021 season preview

Adidas unveiled their new kit with a message from head coach Mikel Arteta, who said: "I want to tell you what I talk to the lads about every day, about what it means to be part of our family, a strong family.

"First there is the non-negotiables: respect, humility, belief. And it's ok to get angry, to raise our voices, as long as it comes from the right place.

"Even though family can hurt us like nobody else, remember they are the ones who raise us up. When people come to our house [and] try to divide us because they know our family and what our shirt means, let them know we can't be divided and it will take all of us together because we know where we belong.

"So when the challenges come you will tell them, this is Arsenal."

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Leah Williamson and Nicolas Pepe were among the stars pictured in the shirt.

The new kit rounds off the second season of the five year, £300million deal between Arsenal and Adidas, one that has proven to be a major success for both the club and the manufacturer.

The shirt is priced at £60 for an adult addition and £45 for juniors. For a further £40 fans can purchase "a version of the player match-worn shirt featuring the benefits the player’s enjoy from intelligent adidas technology within the fabric to the athletic fit of the shirt ensuring you reach your full potential during training sessions and work outs."
